Part insect, part relic, part unidentified object of worship, Locust stretches across black in a skeletal composition of symmetry, anatomy and ritual. The artwork borrows from the visual language of ancient markings and entomological forms without quite belonging to either — something excavated from a civilisation that may or may not have existed.

There is an unsettling precision to it. Every line appears deliberate, almost ceremonial, while the creature at its centre sits somewhere between specimen and deity. Whether you’re wearing the insect or the insect is wearing you remains unresolved.
